Path of a mage || Will and Ambroise
Through the grapevine, Ambroise heard of a lone mage who hadn’t finished their trial to become an advisor at the Naturia Church. Quite some time passed since the apprentice returned home, causing the Warlock much worry. His mind made up, he recklessly ventured into dangerous territory. He wasn’t permitted to interfere with a mage’s Harrowing, but he couldn’t in good conscience leave someone to die. “I could be excommunicated for this.” He thought aloud. Hopefully, the mage hadn’t been killed in the Fade — or worse, possessed by a Demon— but only time would tell if they’d passed their trials.
Stepping into a clearing with ease, Broise met a young man’s green-eyed gaze. “By the gods!” The blonde haired male whispered, hurrying over to the mage. Glancing around, he saw the remains of a wolf and all at once understood: the redhead had killed the creature in self defense. Wolves were pack animals that seldom hunted alone. And where there was one wolf, the rest of its group would surely follow.
“Are you all right?” Ambroise questioned, slowly approaching the boy. At the moment, he had no way of knowing if a Demon gained possession of the other Warlock. @greatforcesofnature
