Can you please explain the class system a little bit more in depth?

Of course!

Firstly, Orbis is divided into several different classes using a very specific ladder system. 

The ‘1%’ being the Capitol, the upper class being District 1, 2, and 4 (Many families in upper class districts can afford to sponsor their children as tributes. Due to this, many victors preside in these districts and therefore families are lavished in wealth.)– the middle: District 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and the lowest class being District 9, 10, 11, and 12. The gaps in society are substantially larger than those we witness in everyday life. There is a much larger gap between the upper and middle class and a small gap between the lower and middle. The Capitol is so wealthy citizens do not have to obtain work. People in the lower districts would starve without labor. If you have any confusion, feel free to send in another ask.

Is it possible for residents of the Capitol not to have an occupation? Considering family money and everything. Or will they be required to hold down a job regardless?

Of course! It's actually pretty rare for Capitol citizens to have a job, aside of those who are participating as a stylist or gamemaker during the games, since they are surrounded by money and wealth, and would rather enjoy their extravagant lifestyle instead of getting their hands dirty. Twelve districts work for them and just them, after all.

what sort of replies are required for activity? does it include meme and sms responses, or is it only para /script?

At least one IC para or script reply counts as activity – memes included as long as they are written in para or script (at least 8 sentences) format and are IC (not AU). SMS threads or picture reblogs do not count as activity.

On the subject of the rebellion part of the application; can a muse be neutral? My muse could be persuaded either way at the moment.

If they are not part of the rebellion right from the start, please answer this section with a no and add in brackets that it’s possible for them to change their mind. If they do change their mind through character development, let us know about the change, too.

if i wanted to make a character who was like blind/deaf/mute/disabled, what occupations do you see them having? ^^

Deaf and mute people could be working in poorer Districts such as 9, 10, 11 or 12, since the jobs there don’t really require communication and they are grateful for every helpful hand. They could also work in District 8 as a factory worker or dressmaker. Blind people actually have a hard time finding a job in Orbis, but they could be pianists in bars or cafes or at exclusive events in rich Districts/the Capitol if they are musically talented, or they cold be breeders of milkers in District 10, or even counselors at schools. Disabled is a very vague definition, so before I answer that I’d prefer if you asked specifically about that.

Could we have a blind/mute stylist? Would that be allowed?

Unfortunately it’s not possible. It wouldn’t work because of the level of communication needed between the stylist and the tributes or their boss, and they need to be able to see their work.

Can we have a muse that was once a victor and is now a headstylist or something?

Unfortunately no. Victors are automatically mentors for new tributes; it's their job during the games. Also, (head)stylist jobs are only available for residents of the Capitol which do not participate in the games.

hello, i looked through other questions but it seems no one asked this before so~~ the current hunger games rules state tributes are not allowed to kill each other, but the hurt ones are removed from the arena. are those who were taken from the game healed like in the books when they even gave katniss her hearing back? or do they have to deal with the consequences like maybe losing a limb? also, are they given time to try and recover in the game? thank you <333

Hello! Yes, of course they get any treatment that is necessary to restore their health as best as they can; the Capitol can’t afford aggravating district citizens by returning their tributes wounded or too harmed. ( It is possible that they die by post-effects of their injuries.) The biggest consequence they have to deal with, however, are the memories and experiences, all the horror they had to go through, that will follow them throughout their whole lives. That’s something the Capitol doesn’t care about, nor will take care of. Once the tributes are healthy enough to stand on their feet, they are getting send back to their districts.
