Possibly wait a few weeks and email the team about it? If others are having the same issues it may be fixed in the future.

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Not sure I can wait that long though haha. I mean I've waited a long time already but like idk there's gonna be spoilers everywhere now and the longer I wait to play the more likely I'll get spoiled for something. >: Then again there's also no FAQ/Walkthroughs online yet so it might be nice to have that in case I get stuck somewhere. XD

Hi! I browsed through the DA tag and I don't see anyone who seems to be having the same issue as you. I think it's your copy, but I have no way to tell unless it's said in a post what everyone is playing it on. did you buy it from a store or online?

I didn't see anyone else posting about it either, so I tried looking at the official forums, but there wasn't much there either. I bought my copy on the Origin store. It was a preorder and I had it pre-downloaded and everything, so I was supposed to be able to start at midnight but nope.
