Let me tell you......that devilish orange concealer you use for color correcting is the truth x you need to get some babies ♡♡♡
La Girl orange concealer
Color Correcting is used to hide redness, darkness and any other imperfection on your face.
I want to try this if I see any difference.
Here is a before and after photo of color correction:
This time I tried to use an orange concealer to hide my undereye circles, which I have a major problem with. I’m not someone who knows a lot of color correction but I watched Carli Bybel the other day and she had a video about this. She basically explained the whole thing other than the orange concealer, where to put it and what color should be applied to correct any imperfection.
This is a color wheel, from what I understood with the Carli’s video, this is the easiest way to know what color should be applied to a specific imperfection. If you have redness issues, the one that is infront of it (which is green) should be used. If you have darkness or sometimes bluish under your eyes then you use the orange one which I used here.

You can use it in two ways, either before concealer or before foundation. Most of the youtubers I watch use the orange corrector before they apply their foundation. It would be “corrector-foundation-concealer”. It’s probably because if you put a lot of orange corrector ( which I have tried) and then a small amount of concealer then there’s a tendency that your undereyes will look pink or there would be a trace of orange under your eyes which is not cute rather that covering it with foundation and then your concealer.
I applied just a small amount of orange corrector here so it probably did not cover my eyebags well but in real life it’s decent.
What I learned: Do not put too much concealer if you don’t want your face to be ghostly. Lol. Well, I used a concealer which is a shade lighter than I should be using though. And I don’t have any other makeup on so it looks funny. ;p
Have you tried color correcting? I don’t usually do this because it’s a lot of work for me. Comment down below if you have tried it.
