Well, that did look damning. Unfortunately, both Janus and Cronos were too much in a hurry to wipe the blood away. Oh well. They hurried into Cronos's car and the moment the key was turned, they rushed off. Cronos checked every mirror for anyone suspicious following them. He did that for a few minutes before he was certain that no one was on their tail. Cronos: Soooo. Does your future wife know about this endeavor? Janus: Don't drag Patton into this. Cronos huffed. He rhythmically drummed on the steering wheel with his index fingers. Cronos: How is Patton? Janus: Why do you care? Cronos: Because they're still my foster sister. Janus rolled his eyes. Janus: Just drop me off at the nearest cafe. He wasn't going to entertain any of Cronos's attempt to look like a better person.
