If anyone is curious about some theories and preferences i have in accordance to Orange, see below the cut!

Honestly?? Having read SO many theories about Orange, I cannot tell you if he should be a part of Logan or an outside force. Both have pros and cons, and I just feel like I cannot make up my mind entirely until it is canonically confirmed

Whatever the case though, my design here basically suggests that either way, Logan is changing and beginning to resemble the “Dark” Sides (pointed ears, claws, fangs, etc.) —

if Orange ends up being an influencing outside force, thennnn Logan gets a physical reminder of the fact that he is a person with emotions that have changed him! Yay! He cannot ignore it!

And if they’re one and the same, even angstier because it’ll remind Logan of what he will have done (which probably won’t be anything kind… because repression doesn’t lead to much direct good when it finally all explodes).

Angst either way so I don’t really mind which direction the series goes ✌️🥹

Though… I am a sucker for duality. So. Most of me hopes theyre the same. A man can dream

Side note, the “Dark” sides have ‘monstrous’ features NOT because they are evil monsters of despair, but because Thomas himself villainizes them to a point it reflects on their bodies. OP is a fan of body horror, he is of the opinion that all horror is body horror, so what? /silly

design notes below :3

-anything orange on him changes colors depending on which other side is affecting him, default is orange.

-android because why is android logan so not done.. hes so canon on god

-hes necktie maxxing because cc!thomas said he considers scarves neckties for cold weather (i believe) and i just. love big scarf characters. he can and will be drawn w/o it tho

-antennae act similarly to animal ears, they pin down when he's upset

-sometimes i envision him with gray skin sometimes tan so take your pick

-cord tail does in fact plug into things to recharge him, he only needs to charge once every few weeks though

-as orange started affecting him more and more, his jeans got more worn (idk the mind palace wanted to f/w him and the way he likes his clothes to be. it mirrors the subtle disorder in him)

-his "blood" is a marbled effect of black and the color of whatever side is affecting him, default is being pure black unless orange is intensely affected him

*i say affected to mean affecting his actions and personality subtly, just a little hc of mine. i believe all the sides can be affected by one another :P

Thinking about the difference between when Janus notices Logan's orange vs Remus.

And idk but made me started thinking of Orange/anger more in the same way as we see the other aspects.

Because,Remus appears like that what he was gunning for. He wanted to pull out orange from Logan.

Meanwhile Janus' reaction is small(they are mid conversation) but more like he's suspicious or guarded about seeing it.

And honestly thinking on it, it make sense if Janus would be less enthusiastic about Anger/Orange.

Because when you're truly angry, that's when you're the least likely to lie or hold things back for better or worse.

When you're mid argument, when you're furious at someone or something, you aren't thinking before speaking or acting.

Even when you say things you didn't really mean, those typically aren't things that you purposely said to be deceitful or hold things back. They're intrusive feelings they came out without thinking. Feelings you might not really agree with.

It make sense if Remus would be more excited at the prospect of Anger coming up than Janus. We know Janus can't really silence Remus like he can the others,and I wouldn't be surprised if Anger ends up being a side of Logan that he can't silence either. Its a situation he can't really handle even if it gets out of sorts.

Whether Remus wants orange out for the chaos, to let Logan(and maybe even by extension Thomas) let loose a lot of built up emotions,or both, its clear at least that he has a lot different reaction to it than Janus.
