Have you met JaidenAnimations or theodds1out?

nah. No real interest to either.

Nothing against them either, their formats just kinda make me sad. It’s not that I dislike them, but they feel more like a sign of the times on Youtube.

Their formats are basically animated Vlogging. That’s one of the only ways you can successfully be an animator on Youtube now--YOU have to be the focus, not your work.

Original, short-format writing and animation is pretty much dead.

If this hasn't been answered already, what's the difference with Grillby and Muffet in this AU?

Grillby is exactly the same as in canon.Muffet… I have a few ideas, but she does not swap and still resides in Hotland.As a general rule of thumb, nobody swaps beyond the main six monsters. Any other changes are a result of the choices made by the swapped characters.
