Let me start off by saying I love fkmt's art style, I love that it's unconventional and unique and charming in its own way

However every panel of kaiji looking down sends me into such a fit of laughter

I can't believe they excluded this opening scene from the anime... it sheds quite a bit of light on the hierarchy of teiai, including that Endou is apparently part of (or used to be part of) Tonegawa's faction...

The "I could have been in that spot" makes me wonder if the plan was for Tonegawa to eventually succeed Hyoudou and Endou to take the position of second-in-command... If so that explains the cute fanart I've seen of a younger Endou trailing around a younger tonegawa like an eager puppy, lol
