So. I nuked my Drifter cabin and built a house. (Or Cabin 2.0, idk.)

[Realtor voice] "Here we have a 1 bed, 1 bath open-concept house, and look, it's got a water feature! Ignore the looming Ordis in the distance, we all just pretend he's not there--

"So in the entrance we have a small mudroom, which leads right into this big space where we have a kitchen, dining room and some room for activities! Look at the view out the window-- not that window, the other window...

"If we go upstairs --yes, it has stairs!-- you'll see that this bedroom is much larger than in the old cabin, with room for a dresser and armchair and some plants! It would have more furniture and a door but we ran out of capacity.

"And over here we have the bathroom, also much larger than the last one, and get this-- it even has a toilet!"

I wanna show y'all something special, since it seems people really liked my orbiter; if you take a slightly obscured path to the right of Kahl's Garrison, there's a trail that takes you down to an area with a cave and waterfall and some open space. That was where I decided to build my Drifter a cabin!

On an unrelated note, I'm really goddamned tired of Zariman missions.

(Some objects might be harder to recognize since, to improve performance while my PC is getting fixed, I turned off features like Enhanced Decals to improve game performance)

Finally managed to rizz the right person (Arthur), and my man likes to cook, so... the choice of what to do with the weird space next to the stairs was obvious.

It's a very tight space, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Behold, the largest part of the project! I turned Operator's room into a galley, complete with kitchen, living room, head (bathroom) and bedroom.

Hombask is probably sick to death of me showing up demanding more wooden panels and kitchenware.

The area of the Operator's chair is a pain in the ass to decorate. Redzones, my behated...

(Yes I know Vazarin is up there twice, but it looks better to me having 3 on each side)

So despite how wildly inadequate youtube videos of orbiter design make me feel, I decided to upload my own screencaps anyway.

This is just the main body of the orbiter, there are a LOT of screencaps of other rooms; if people like this I'll add those too.

EDIT: Swapping in screencaps taken on my PC, where I have much better graphics settings (also I can't stop fucking around and tweaking decor here and there).
