now would be the perfect time to bring John Simm back to Big Finish. for no particular reason, it's just a thought
on the one hand, i've never wanted Ryan Gosling to join the MCU (or any big franchise for that matter, but he's joined two now, and i'm speaking as someone who was a big Marvel fan (comics and films) years ago).
on the other, if there's a Marvel character that would fit Ryan Gosling well (especially considering the characters he's played before), that's Ghost Rider, so the casting is undeniably brilliant. and that paired with the fact that this is a dream role for Ryan and that he was the one to pitch the idea for this film based on particular comics he loves makes me extra happy for him and excited to see what comes out of it.
i'm really hoping the film is good and that Ryan's vision for the character and film gets respected (which doesn't happen often in the MCU or DCU these days, but perhaps he'll be one of the lucky ones). i'm also hoping he only does one or two films; i would hate for Ryan to get contractually trapped in the MCU. he thrives doing standalone projects and indie/auteur films. i'm very happy that he gets to do this passion project, but i hope he still comes back home from time to time.
'UNIT Dating' from Stranded 2 is such a great story. the entire story is focused on a gay couple and it contains a time loop, commentary on homophobia in the 50s/60s, ally Brigadier, more Helen Sinclair lore (and Helen opening up to Liv), the Doctor having a heartfelt moment with the Brigadier, and the Doctor making a little joke about UNIT's dating controversy
losing my mind over Project Hail Mary's deleted scenes. i'm crying and i can't stop smiling. what a beautiful thing to wake up to

no, no, you don't understand. i literally had a post on my drafts that i hadn't posted yet where i was saying how i would give anything for another Tenth Doctor audio series like Dalek Universe or just any new audio stories in general, and now you're telling me we're getting FIFTEEN (15) new Tenth Doctor audio stories?! and the final box set will have him teaming up with other incarnations??!! like in Out of Time?! i can't even begin to express how big this is for me

i've been listening to the Project Hail Mary score so much i almost have it memorised and it keeps making me cry and smile and making my heart flutter.
this score is as extraordinarily beautiful and memorable as the rest of the film and i'll be thinking about it and listening it to for years.
