SeaWorld San Diego recently debuted a refreshed version of their “Orca Encounter,” which combines the more educational elements of their modern presentations with homages to old theatrical shows like “Believe” and “One Ocean” (even down to the trainer wetsuits). Personally, I think this is a major improvement on the previous version—it’s both more engaging for the audience and leaves a lot more room for variety for the whales.

I think I liked Orca Encounter better than One Ocean.

I think the right whale is Trua, but I am not 100% on the whale on the left.
