Huevember Day 12: Orchid!

Huevember character fact: The friend who commissioned me to design Orchid said they wanted “A hyper-offense character who looks like a healer”!

I asked my friend to design what she thought was a more “classically pretty” RWBY OC team, and this was the result!

Introducing Orchid Pentacles of Team ROYL (Royal)!

Name origin: Pink Orchids, and Pentacles = Diamonds

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Race: Human, dark-skinned

Residence: ???

Influence: The Queen of Diamonds

Personality: Orchid puts on a very compassionate yet airheaded front most of the time, but in combat or with any kind of confrontation, she becomes ruthless and violent. No-one is quite sure why she acts like this though.

Weapon: Orchid uses a staff with no ranged properties. The flower on the front end is razor-sharp, and the back end is also a sharpened spear. Thanks to her Semblance, Orchid has no need to bother with any complicated firearms.

Semblance: Orchid can manifest 4 arm-like ribbons of energy that can extend up to 100ft. Each ribbon is strong enough to effortlessly lift a person, and fast enough to dish out a barrage of coordinated attacks.

History: (Currently undecided, she and her team are already graduate Huntresses though)

This team can be considered canon to the Team RNBW story expansion, but I haven’t yet found a way to integrate them into the main story. Stay tuned for updates, though!
