Everyone kept hyping me up and hyping me up for Astarion’s personal quest, saying it was going to make me love him more. Instead Tav died, I lost control of the scene, Astarion chose ascension and sacrificed 7,000 souls. And all I could I could think of was, how Minthara is raked over the coals for the grove and then this shit happens. AND ANOTHER THING! no offense, love my rp to death, but I don’t actually like him MORE now, I still feel the same.

@orchideae sent: There was a chuckle almost deafened to silence amidst the crash of waves to the hull of the Alcor. But as always, it remained steady and ever unwavering, much as she who stood before her now. "You know, you’re not half as bad as everyone says you are, captain." (Beidou, Beidou, Beidou, girl, please give me Beidou for the love of all that is unholy for I have been perishing)

       The Alcor was a flurry of activity, sailors hurrying to and from their posts as preparations were made to brace the storm that engulfed Inazuma, but her captain remained steadfast, unfazed. The Raiden Shogun's eternal will, a tempest of torrential rain and lightning designed to isolate her nation from the rest of Teyvat, was still some hours away, but Beidou could feel the winds picking up as they whipped her dark hair around her face, the spray from the sea more refreshing than usual, the crash of waves against the ship's hull far louder than it had been while anchored off Guyun Stone Forest. She was not concerned, leaning back casually against the ship's railing. Storm chasing was in her blood — and besides, this was not the first time she had navigated this strait and docked safely in Ritou. This would be no different.

       As Yelan came into view, her words prompted a short laugh to escape Beidou's lips. “ This is what happens when you stop talking to Ningguang. The Tianquan is my fiercest critic. ” She wasn't supposed to know who Yelan was, but Beidou wouldn't escort anyone to a place like Inazuma without good cause. This was something that Ningguang would simply have to trust her with. Amusement flickered in her eye as it darted towards her companion. “ Whatever people would say of me, I wouldn't say I was bad at any of it. ”

"would you change anything, if given the chance, about your life?", @orchideae asked.

And here she had thought that they had concluded their meeting. The pair had bid each other farewell just mere minutes ago. After years of collaboration and, should she dare say it, friendship, this became routine. Months apart led to a meeting in the Jade Chamber to go over the information collected and address concerns, then they part ways once more. Together one moment, apart the next. Ningguang expected Yelan to have left already, so she had started where she left off on her paperwork. The question stills the Tianquan's hand, making her ponder.

The answer comes without hesitation. She's always been sure of herself, even if the path ahead was mired in strife. What has her perplexed is the intent. Just what is she trying to achieve with this? Yelan knows her. There's very few things she holds tighter in her fist than Mora. However... this isn't about her. No, this invokes an all too familiar scene. One from many years ago, when she found the agent with bleeding hands and a wounded heart and soul.

Upon seeing Baiwen rounding the corner, eye contact and a hand gesture was all that was needed to send her away. A sigh escapes as Ningguang sets her quill down next to the parchment.

❝ No, I would not. ❞

The girl she once was wouldn't survive a day as the Tianquan she became. Red eyes, at long last, turn to hold their gaze with her companion's. ❝ That begs the question: would you? If you are having doubts... my words back then hold even now. ❞

Nathan found the shop, just by a gut feeling. He followed the feeling of nature and plants. So he found himself at the flower shop. Nathan could feel that there was something else, to this place and he was definitely intrigued. It didn’t feel negative in any way, so he stepped inside. 

He looked around at the shop, his fingertips delicately brushing over leaves and flower petals, with his powers, making them thrive even more. He always felt most comfortable in nature. Which was no surprise.

When he heard a voice, he looked over with a smile. Must’ve been the owner of this shop, or at least someone who worked here. “Hi. I’m just looking around.” He said. “It’s been a cold spring, but your flowers are all thriving. I think that’s wonderful. How do you do that?”

It's not unusual for the Yuheng to find herself alone in the wilderness for several days. As a matter of fact, Keqing considers these outings of hers almost necessary, with the way they allow her to disconnect from her normal routine while still providing something of value to Liyue Harbor. After so many years of doing this, she's become a far more efficient map maker than most who wear that title.

Despite this, she has never ventured this far from Liyue Harbor, high up in the mountains of Chenyu Vale bordering Fontaine. She'd been admiring the view, mesmerized by the thousands of meters of majestic waterfalls that stand between them and the neighboring nation, when Yelan finds her.

So much water... likely deep, as well. With no small amount of sadness, Keqing notes that it's somewhere she will probably never be able to visit. She tears her gaze away with a wistful sigh, her gemstone-colored eyes instead falling on Yelan. An elegant brow arches at the informant's inquiry.

"I could ask the same, Miss Yelan, though I suppose it's far more common for you to be seen so far away from the Harbor," she concedes. While she has no idea how the woman goes about obtaining her information (and prefers to keep it that way), no doubt it involves a good amount of legwork.

"To answer your question, I'm simply exploring. Training."

A good bit of electro energy still lingers in the air. The nearby area exhibits some signs of a past skirmish, though whether it was against man or beast, she will not confirm unless asked.

"It's the only way to keep my blade sharp these days." Not that she's truly complaining, as it means things in the city have been fairly calm recently. "I'd hate to grow complacent."
