how can the maverick-krause family be mixed and everett which is both parents kids be logan lerman?
because everett is the only biological child of the mom and dad in this plot (fam#7). their ex-spouces could have easily been of another ethnicity. so his mother’s ex-husband could have been of japanese descent or his father’s ex-wife could have been of mexican descent and those are just examples. so his half-siblings would be of mixed heritage if that was the case.

hails from montreal, quebec, ca. he lived there until he was thirteen, at which point his father moved the family back to his hometown of berkeley after grandma bacon passed away.
managed to adjust to the move pretty well. certainly, he hated the culture shock. he hated his noticeable accent. he missed the snow in the winter. he missed his friends. living in his late grandparents’ house didn’t ease things either. however, his fam found him a youth hockey league to play in; he fell into a friend group thanks to his smarts and church groups; and in general, he tends to spin things in a positive direction.
that said, he’s sardonic af. yeah, he views things in a positive light, and in the grand scheme of things he has zero qualms adapting to something that interrupts his routine, but if he comments on it, it’s going to come out bitter. why does he do it? he thinks it’s Funny.
family life? it wasn’t all gung-ho, but they weren’t dysfunctional by any means. his parents emphasized hard work, good manners, and modesty and that has stuck with him over the years.
first impression? he’s the perfect gentleman. he can hold up appearances in front of a certain demographic. spend more than two seconds with him and he’s not trying to be professional? you’ll see the snark. :~)
“if we’re paying for your college you need to major in something that will get you a job straight out of college.” nursing school it was. the four years was a breeze for him, but only because he was focused 95% on his studies. “get in, get out, get job.” so he did.
when his younger sister graduated high school, his mom was ready to move back to montreal. southern life wasn’t for her, but his dad still wasn’t ready to sell his parents’ house. “chris, do you want to live in it?”
he thought it was insane that his parents were basically giving him a house (at least temporarily, now indefinitely), who does that, but he was happy with his job locally and living rent free was a sweet deal?? how could he say no???
that’s the main reason he’s stuck around this long, tbh, but now he’s thoroughly established here with a job he loves, friends he adores, and a beautiful fiancée.
(pretends he) has zero tolerance for stupidity. makes sarcastic remarks when people are surprised when they state the obvious. looks into an invisible camera like he’s on the office when he can’t believe something is happening right in front of him.

loves wit and banter. the west wing was the Best Show of All-Time™. can be a bit melodramatic. dabbles on the piano. (in another life he would’ve tried to become a professional musician.) don’t make him pick between coffee and beer. enjoys roadtrips and music festivals. sunday drives? a+++++
buys sticky notes in bulk because he doodles and leaves notes & reminders all over the place. you know how some people have receipts coming out of their ears? that’s him with his post-its.

but honestly... under all his dry wit he really does care about people. a lot. he wants to help. he’s subtle when he expresses his love. his snide comments aren’t always him being a shady tree.
he’s currently engaged to alyx watson and he’s absolutely crazy about her!!!!! they’re loud and wild and if someone didn’t know better, an outside glance might leave the impression they can’t stand each other because they feed off of each other’s sarcasm. they’re equals in every way tho
