This is the LAST WEEK to buy ¡THE WORLD ES MI FAMILIA!: A COCO CHARITY ZINE!

¡The World es Mi Familia! is a charity fanzine for the Disney-Pixar Coco fandom, featuring works by over twenty writers and artists from the fandom. Proceeds from this fanzine will be sent in a monetary donation to RAICES: The Refugee And Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services.  

We are a nonprofit agency that promotes justice by providing free and low-cost legal services to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees. With legal services, social programs, bond assistance, and an advocacy team focused on changing the narrative around immigration in this country, RAICES is operating on the national frontlines of the fight for immigration rights. We defend the rights of immigrants and refugees, empower individuals, families, and communities, and advocate for liberty and justice.

The zine will be sold from January 1, 2020 through January 31, 2020 [US EST timezone]. The cost is $25 USD. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to RAICES.

¡The World es Mi Familia! Showcase

Today we’d like to showcase some features of  ¡The World es Mi Familia! Because this fanzine is in a digital format, we were able to add a few ease of access features along with some more personal touches. 

Zine Layout

¡The World es Mi Familia! has been formatted to fit almost every screen type, including laptops, monitors, and phones. There are 19 art pieces and 7 stories ranging up to 3,000 words apiece. All art pieces are in high resolution! The zine has also be created in an e-book layout for readers, and features optical character recognition for accessibility devices.

Those of you who’ve bought the zine already may have not noticed this handy little feature, but the index is hyperlinked! Simply click on anyone’s name on the Contents page and you will be taken to their piece. Also, be sure to take a moment and read the preface; we’ve got a lot to be thankful for!
