Eidolon Hall is more of a bustling place than they’d anticipated.
It brings Enkidu both excitement and unease being directly in the middle of such active movement, but in the midst of it all most don’t even give them a passing glance. They were here with reason, of course--in order to properly survive in a place like this, they’d need to make an earning. And making an earning meant gaining some type of work to do.
( of course, that wasn’t their only reason, the image of a certain king flickers in their mind briefly. )
Where to start was the question, as they were unwilling to stop those who seemed as though they had no time to spare. The sight of a boy who looked just as out-of-place as they did shifted their attention, finally, as Enkidu makes a beeline straight over to the figure (or as straight as one could, when people were running about every which-way.)
“Ah-- I’m sorry, but are you here… looking for an ‘occupation’ as well?”

Oh he doesn’t like this at all.
This weather is just the worst for him. Not to mention his already limited use of his powers is practically nonexistent. Plus why a glass sword of all things!? He might as well use his own physical strength than use something that’ll break so easily.
But at this point, complaining won’t get him anywhere, especially when he’s no longer at the school he was trapped in and no signs of any of his classmates.
Maybe it’d be best if he tried to talk with someone around here, though he’s sure anyone around here is just as confused as he is, even if this place...gives off a strange air of familiarity in a way.
“Hey, you mind joining me looking around this place?”
It’s a rather strange feeling...to be asking someone he doesn’t know for anything. Maybe his past experiences in the last few months might have been useful after all.
At least talking to one of the people who seems to be living in the same place with him is a start.
@ordinarybrilliance , this situation feels a little familiar, doesn’t it...
“Ah, my servant is here. This is good news.”
He waved that young man over from where he sat alone at one of the sturdy wooden tables of the Crystal Tavern. Gilgamesh looked fairly content despite this whole situation, comfortably lounged along his seat with an empty glass set before him. There was still some white foam within, residue from the beer he’d finished.
“You, go up to the bar and see if they have wine. Their beer is decent--or at least, it will do while I’ve no access to my treasures--so let’s see how their wine fares, hm?” His tone was typical of him, without room for argument or refusal. “I’ll allow you to sit with me after. You’re the second familiar face I’ve seen in this dreadful outpost.”

This world was cold. It was a simple observation, and yet, it was the first and most apt one that Jeanne could make. She, a woman with a strong admiration of flames and their warmth, found such an environment distasteful. Yet, there was an odd sort of calm she couldn’t help but notice as well, one which she had only very rarely felt. Calm simply wasn’t in her nature as an Avenger. And yet, with only a sword in her possession, none of those abilities which provoked her rage (that wasn’t to say she had none, on the contrary, it was still burning as brightly as ever) past those limits it normally resided within, she felt....Lighter, almost.
Peculiar indeed. Part of her wondered if she was the only one from her world here, and whether it would be a good thing, or a bad one. She supposed she would find out soon enough, however, as, indeed, she did believe she spotted an individual she knew all too well. To approach or not was the question which lingered in her mind, but she quickly pushed it aside. Her rage might have dampened ever so slightly, but her boldness and brashness had not. With that in mind, she stepped towards him, her sword in hand, feeling strangely vulnerable without her other formidable abilities. “Humph. Well, your presence here is to be expected, isn’t it” she said by way of greeting.
oopsies! i hope it's okay now~
