Have you tried colourlovers[dot]com? You can make pallets of colors and if you go into the advanced options, you can choose complimentary, triad, and a bunch of options to see colors that go with the one you pick. I thought it might help you for color combinations :)

Yea me too (: It'll probably take me awhile to do that tho haha. I might just do it by looking whenever someone asks for the pattern. Maybe even marking down in the book I made for patterns the number for complexity.
Yes! That makes what I was trying to say sound much less complicated haha. So a pattern listed as a 1 could be the least expensive and a 10 be the most. Or even a 1 to 5 scale depending on how many patterns you have.

I think, even though it will make things a little more complicated, you should do things by the complexity of the pattern and have examples listed. Like "this design costs so much" and "this design is so much". Keep your clasp or knot option, I like that a lot. So instead of saying "normal patterns" are eight, perhaps give a price for each pattern, along with a picture so people know exactly what the pattern they're getting is? It's more complex, but I think it could work :)
So like give the pattern a rating from 1-10 (?) for complexity and base the prices on that? Like a 1 would be $2 or something?
