I am not sure about the date, so I'm asking you: does September 27, 1986 one exist? I saw September 26 before on your trading site, but not this one... And I highly doubt that I would have an audio you don't have yet unless it's Korean bootleg so...
Hey there! I believe the September 26th and 27th ones are the same, just mislabeled. Both are usually marked as being from the first preview. However, according to Wikipedia, the first preview was September 27th, so I guess there shouldn’t be anything from September 26th, which leads me to believe that the audio was just mislabeled. Or Wikipedia is wrong, I don’t know.
Also, I think it’s kind of awesome that someone managed to get audio of Phantom’s first preview.
Question about October 28, 1991 Broadway one. I figured out that I have two versions of this file. And one happens to be one pitch higher than the other... The higher version looks like it has been shortened by making its beat faster(and effecting the note itself). If I send a mail to you with link, could you figure them out? If you don't have enough time that's okay. Many thanks. :)
Yeah, the higher version was a sped up version. The one I have was remastered by a very nice person here on Tumblr. (I still thought it was sped up, but apparently Karen Culliver is just that squeaky.) Hope that straightened things out! No mail needed.
