I think this must be discussed.
For those of you unaware, whether you live in a different country or just don't pay much attention to the news, at the end of last year there had been an occupation of public land by the Bundy family as a means of protest.
The clan had begun protesting due to an arrest of two ranchers that was seen as unlawful and the inappropriate use of state land, provoking them to peacefully show their discontent.
As of recently, the Oregon police department organized a tactical strike against the Bundys with the FBI as they were driving to the local town hall to, again peacefully, discuss the matter at hand and find a solution. As shown in FBI footage released to the public, the Bundy car is driven off the road by a road block and into a snow bank. One of the men in the car steps out with his arms up, and is confronted by two aggressive gunmen, one in front and one behind. As the Bundy man realizes that he is surrounded by hostile armed men, he himself reaches for his gun in an attempt to preserve his own life and is shot and killed by one of the hostiles.
I see this as blatant murder. Yet the media is portraying the Bundy clan member as the "bad guy" because he attempted to defend himself. I cannot stand for this. I want to know my audience's opinion on the entire event, as I have already voiced my outlook in my latest video. What can and will be done about this? Are we going to sit back like sheep and let the government slaughter us like the dictators in the Middle East we so lividly hate? I hope not.
