We are the people who had lived on the edge of life every day, questioning how much longer we had left; we are the rejects that became so much more than what we were told, the successful who achieved so much more than they ever thought they could, the beautiful people that found more love than they thought their hearts would hold, the people who never believed they would find happiness ever again and then were bombarded by it. We are the burning, we are the passionate; we are starving to live, and we are more alive than we have ever been, and we will push ourselves to every end of the earth to live as fast and as hard and as loud and as close and as in love as we are right now. Our lives are full of promise, our eyes full of tears, our throats full of laughter, our feet punching the ground fast, our voices singing loud, clear, and resilient. We are alive, and no one can ever steal our happiness from us ever again.
