The character of Orga

I love Orga because they arise from a supposedly superior alien intelligence being as hubris-filled and foolish as an old-school “mad genius”.

Orga is every scientist in fiction who gets impatient and drinks/ injects the serum/formula into themselves without enough testing

Hm... A dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde take on Orga and their millenian form has potential.

A stunning realization

I just realized Orga and Zigra are (likely unintentionally) the clearest counterpart kaiju between the Godzilla and Gamera series

Intelligent Alien

Literally a part of their spaceship at first

Huge Ego (look at some translations of the text Orga was filling computer screens with)

Trapped in a monstrous form (or monstrously large form in Zigra's case) upon the destruction of their ship

Can we appreciate the fact Orga is a kaiju that’s also a mad scientist?

That applies to both versions.

They’re also their own hunchback!

Note how in the Japanese version, Orga’s transformation was unintentional, thus the sound effects are sometimes meant to be pitiful.

Fanfiction idea

I’m kinda toying with an idea of Orga versus Zilla and Heat on a round the world conflict, culminating with Orga and Zilla having to work together against the Gryphon from the orginal idea for the Tristar Godzilla.

(though the Gryphon might benefit from a more alien tokusatsu aesthic redesign while keeping its inhuman build. Its kinda underwhelming as a horrific harbringer. Think honestly only the face needs to be changed. Could be interesting having a beak that’s modifed from a mamallian skull, like the Montauk Monster’s decayed racoon face ). A few additional monsters to fight alongside the gryphon might be nice as well, also based on heraldry around the globe.

Might do a first draft sometime next year after doing some research on locations/marathoning the cartoon to get a feel for the character.

Wait, can Orga not absorb DNA?

If Orga was just absorbing Organizer G-1, and it was using the Godzilla DNA given to him by the ship...then that makes a lot more sense?

I mean, DNA is DNA. You should be able to get all you need to analyze from the first bite. (Unless Orga as a mind hive was in a mental war with itself, with some fighting the transformation)

Anyone got access to official material on this?

I feel the analysis of the shoulder cannon lacking since it doesn’t give the feats of the UFOs cannon when comparing  them, but eh.
