How I Organize Myself For University
To start: I'm not perfect so I'm not saying that this is the only way to organize your university work. I'm just giving my tips in case someone needs some help getting organized! These tips are for anyone regardless of what year you are in, hope they help!
a bullet journal or planner
I use the month view to put down where tests and assignments are due with a color coded system. Each class has a different color to make it easier to see the difference. I use the week view to write down each individual assignment for each class. If there is something that has multiple parts, I list each part under the main to be able to have small victories to check off.
Notion
I have made a tab on my Notion called university where I keep all of my coursework. I have all of my classes listed in a grid view where I keep the Zoom links, syllabi, professor names, etc. handy to be accessible at any time. Underneath that I have all of my assignments for the term off of the syllabi. I like this a lot because the dates do tend to change every so often which is why I like having a digital space to see my assignments. That is a super brief explanation of my Notion, so if you want a tour, let me know!
Google Calendar
Google Calendar is one of my favorite things in the world! I have all of my classes scheduled on the calendar to be able to see when I have free time. I also put my work schedule on Google Calendar to be able to make sure nothing overlaps. It also gives me a peace of mind that I can see everything at once instead of having to look around for it.
I hoped these all helped! Hope everyone has a great week!
