January 31, 2017 - Oriental Plover, Asiatic Dotterel, Asiatic Sandplover, Eastern Dotterel, Eastern Long-legged Sand Plover, Eastern Sand Plover, Greater Oriental Plover, or Oriental Dotterel (Charadrius veredus)

These plovers breed in Asia and winter in Australia, migrating through eastern China, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia. Foraging in large flocks with other shorebirds, their diet is mostly insects, such as beetles, termites, and grasshoppers, and possibly also includes some snails and seeds. Though not much is known about their breeding habits, they are thought to breed in solitary pairs with females caring for the chicks alone.

It hatches from black, bright, brown, brownish, dark, large, legged, long, loud, male, much, orange, oriental, pale, separate, similar, slender, thick, and white eggs.
