DIOPTASE
Dioptase is a serious, hard working and rather young gem, but still he isnt the leader of the Frost Squad. Not officially, even if he's the onw doing ALL the boss work. Painite, the Frost Squad leader, is a lazy mf and gives all the ordinary responsabilities to Diop... Diop, however, doesn't hate Painite and respects him, because in very important, stressful times, Dioptase breaks under the pression (literally, he's an hardness 5 but he's VERY brittle) and Painite is always here to lead everyone. They have a rather good relationship. By the others of the Squad, he's often seen as boring... well, he is. Not everyone can be funny and quirky!
ORIENTITE
Orientite was born in a small island near the huge Mountain Island. There is a rocky archipelago near and all around the major island, and was not discovered by other gems. A small tribe of Admirabilis noticied him and built him a small, rudimentary wood boat to reach the main island. Since then, Orientite was in love with wood constructions and boats, and tried to improve the methods to move from an island to another. He is very work-oriented and hates to be interrupted while he's making one of his crazy ideas come true! He decides what wood is the best with Kosmochlor, and often makes boats for Kupferblau and Carletonite to go explore the land. Eosphorite makes his works beautiful, since Orientite has no fashion sense... and he's kinda embarassed by it.
DUFTITE
Duftite is one of the two Duftite twins, but he's actually the only, real mineral, since his brother is the variation Duftite-alpha, its darker in colour and a bit more brittle. Since Dufti is harder than his twin Alpha, Dufti is way less careful and likes to make incredible high jumps on the snow, making Alpha VERY SCARED. The mountains are no joke, and if some gem falls over, it will be dead forever. No one will ever be able to take their rests. Dufti doesn't care, because Painite is no idiot and chose his assistants on their skills, and Duftite has an incredible instinct on where to put his feets to not fall. In his whole life, he only broke a feet and his head ONCE, and in the Village! Dufti is able, but still a baby, heavy idiot. He likes bad puns TOO MUCH. And he likes his twin too!
CARLETONITE
a gem named Carl. CARL. His name is "CARL". Carl doesn't care his name is CARL, because he's cool enough to jus suppress his very NOT GEMMY name. He is double coloured, and this is even COOLER, and has always a cool, clever attitude. He often goes exploring with the explosive Kupferblau, and they hang very well. Both white/blue gems, whoho!! Carl is an old boy and knows pretty well the island, but he's not very interested in geography and more in nature, and all the animal and plant species. He is writing a long, multi-book encyclopedia, and its constantly updating it and reading it to Putnisite. He is so proud of his books!
