Garchomp can't learn Draco Meteor anymore? I thought if you brought him to the tutor, he could.
The tutor is on B2/W2 only. There are no Move Tutor on X/Y to teach it Draco Meteor.
Egad! I've been tagged!
Rules: 1. Always post the rules. 2. Anwser the questions of the person who tagged you and write 11 new ones. 3. Tag 11 people and link them. 4. Let them know that they are tagged.
I was tagged by this awesome person!
1. Any siblings?
Nope. None at all. I feel that some of my friends are kinda like siblings and they bug me like siblings too.
2. Tea or coffee?
If I want to relax and Scott is there to offer it, tea. If I'm desperately sleepy and someone offers, coffee. Basically I only have either if someone offers it to me because I'm too lazy to brew it myself. Bad lazy girl, bad.
3. Choose ONE superpower that isn’t “all of them”
Shape-shifting. It would be awesome to change forms; become any animal or anything or anyone.
4. Have you ever waited for the bus in the rain in the rain?
Oh, you... Yes.
5. Talent you’re most proud of?
I can flare my nostrils. I can also procrastinate. I can also breathe.
6. Your dream job?
I don't have any plans or dreams about the future at all. I'm very easy going, take it as it comes. I don't have any particular goals at the moment, other than passing my course.`
7. Do you like Nutella?
There are people who don't like Nutella? Who doesn't like Nutella? I like Nutella anyway.
8. Have you ever gotten anon hate?
Nah, I haven't done anything popular enough to gain enough attention to get any anon hate.
9. Ever broken a bone?
No. I'm a sturdy person. Drink milk kids.
10. Your Hogwarts house?
You know, I actually don't know. I love Harry Potter but I just never got around to that quiz. Probably Slytherin or Hufflepuff.
11. Can you keep a secret?
Yes. I can also keep a paper bag that's slowly dripping blood. I can keep that, like in my closet or something.
Here's my questions:
1. What is your hair colour?
2. Any piercing or tattoos?
3. What's your nationality?
4. Dream URL?
5. How many followers do you have?
6. How long have you had tumblr?
7. What was your last dream about? Describe all the weird shit.
8. What the hell is your time zone? (Seriously where do half of you guys even live?!)
9. What one piece of awesome clothing do you want? (Link a pic.)
10. Do you listen to Welcome to Nightvale?
11. Did you seriously answer all of the questions? Wow? Really? Okay then. Thank you.

Hey, uh, I just noticed that multiple reblogs for your posts don't show up on the notes list (for me, at least). Does this mean that multiple reblogs no longer count for the giveaways?
Even if they don’t show up on the individual note count for the Giveaways, they DO show up on our notification list. We’ve been importing everything that comes up into Excel so that it assigns a number value (notes don’t do that either!) which will make selecting our winner with random.org that much easier! :)

I couldn’t tell you, to be honest. I mean, /I/ would use that phrase, and have used that phrase, but that’s because I’m a weird mix of formal and informal. AJ? I dunno. I think it’s up to whatever feels more… country.
writtenwaiver replied to your post: Language
I can add the data point that it’s not a Canadian English thing, but I’ve heard it from speakers of Indian English, which seems in large part British English frozen at about 1900.

See when you said “add contractions” I immediately went to “I’ven’t”
origami-pegasus replied to your post: Language
"I’ve not" sounds really formal. I’d guess it’s Commonwealth/British but I’m not for sure.
So! I found something! This blog by a U.S.ian linguist living in the U.K. has this to say on the matter:
When have occurs between a subject pronoun and a not, the speaker has a choice--to contract the have with the pronoun (I've not gargled, she's not gargled) or to contract the not (I haven't gargled, she hasn't gargled). In both BrE and AmE, it is more common to contract the not. But the I've/she's not pattern is much more likely to be heard in BrE than in AmE; in Algeo's words the 've/'d not pattern is a "statistical Briticism". In the Cambridge International Corpus, he found for auxiliary have:
BrE: I haven't VERBed is 2.5 times more frequent than I've not VERBed AmE: I haven't VERBed is 26 times more common than I've not VERBed
I feel so vindicated.

origami-pegasus said: I use Pegasister because pegasi are freaking AWESOME and people still give me shit for it. I totally agree with you 100%. Let the kid call himself a brony. I don’t see why anyone should care or even go out of their way to try and say they can’t.
The Beloved Spouse is a fan of "Pegasister," if I recall correctly.
And yeah, more so than any particular term, it was the going out of the way to be a jerk to some little kids that really stuck in my craw. Geez louise.
professorpiggy said: But being a brony is a special privilege, reserved only for the noble few who have cast off the shackles of gender oppression and chosen to bear the burden of liking a cool cartoon! How will people know how great we are? D:
Well, people will know how great you and I are because our greatness transcends the limitations of all human speech. Duh.
ask-hurricanes-ghost said: I must take back my previous statement. Piggy never pays met to do anything and he certainly didn’t pay me to say so.
LIES! I know what you and Piggy are up to! I KNOW!
kyronea replied to your post: Here’s a question for you.
I don’t think I can disagree here. I could argue, potentially, that others could serve as something for Twilight to lose, but… oooh, maybe every other Mane Six dies, but Twilight sacrifices herself to bring them back, as it were. Has to be Twi.
I pretty much assumed that'd be how Twilight bites the dust. It's fitting. She undergoes a sort of metaphorical rebirth at the series' beginning, when the other five teach her the magic of friendship ... there's a nice symmetry to her using the magic of friendship to provide a literal rebirth to her friends later down the line. Full circle and all o' that.
origami-pegasus replied to your post: Here’s a question for you.
Celestia. Or maybe the other alicorns (save Twi). Can you imagine how heartbreaking for Twilight as she struggles along without her mentor suddenly taken away? (If the movie wasn’t the end of MLP, that is). Lots of potential for conflict there.
I think that's a great idea for a story, actually--"Twilight is the last alicorn." Lots of interesting potential there and, I'm sure, lots and lots of heartbreak. The original question specified Mane Six, though, so that's why I stuck to them.
If I was going to answer for any character in the entire series, though? Hmm. I'd probably still say Twilight. But if not Twilight, then I think I'd choose Spike. I've got a soft spot for stories that kill off a relatively young character who everyone assumed would long outlive the other characters. (*cough* LT. CMDR. DATA.*cough*)
