Ocupenlass!!!! #Yordi #Rosado #Aurora #Del #Valle #Pepillo #Origel #estacañon
I can't explain how much I love Origel right now guys ohmygod. I have this awful cankersore on my lips that makes it if I have my jaw and lips both closed (like you would to sleep) my teeth hit it and OH MY GOD IT HURTS SO BAD But with this awesome numby stuff I CAN CLOSE SLEEP NORMAL THANK THE LORD
Name: Origele Artiks (Origele is similar to obelus or obelisk and Artiks is similar to asterisk.)
Great name! But, you’ve broken the 6-6 rule. Origel, I believe, would sound the same and have the same meanings, just fit in. I guess it depends on how you pronounced it, though.
Age: 6 sweeps
Blood color: Indigo
I know that Equius-coloured blood is considered “Indigo” but honestly, it’s going to get confusing because real indigo is purple-er. I’d just call it blue!
Symbol: Division sign (But not representative of one. In this case, it’s used to signify the typography symbol of a dagger and is used as a symbol noting extinction or death.)
So, I like the ideas of the dagger and extinction/death, but people are going to see the division sign and think she’s math-based. The division sign is an early version of a different symbol, which also represents the obelus, death, and, of course, daggers. I chose the double-dagger version for Origel, which I think works pretty well.
Lusus: A spotted salamander named Aoi
Spotted salamanders are cool! Make sure she’s bigger than they really are, though, a ten-inch long creature probably couldn’t raise a troll very well.
Strife specibus: doubledaggerkind (It’s basically just two knifes held within one sheath to give it the look of the double dagger symbol.)
Strife specibi are, I believe, only ever eight letters long + kind: dbldaggrkind works though. Also, I’d have her wield both at the same time, one in each hand, for maximum damage.
Fetch modus: Dead drop. When an item is captchalogued, it is turned into an envelope that is placed into her inventory. Instead of containing the item, it is actually just a note giving her a hint of where the item has been stashed. It’s similar to a scavenger hunt but much cooler (as she would state) because it is more like a secret mission than just an ordinary hunt. For convenience, items that are small are stashed nearby to make them easier to locate. However, large items are hidden farther away to create more of a challenge. When the captchalogued item is found, there is one last obstacle to deal with; the item is contained within a doll that must be “dealt with” in order to release the item, which becomes like a “reward” for her “services.” An obvious draw back is that if she is unable to find an item, it can’t be used by her. Also, there is the issue of capthcalogging the doll itself, which can cause a doll to be captured within a doll. The dolls look like little versions of her lusus.
Very clever, I’ve never seen anything like this before! Having the captchalogued item not turn into an intangible sylladex-held thing is a great idea, and the obvious problems will cause some pretty funny shenanigans.
Trolltag: omniMatrix
Good, have a GCAT one in case you want it: annihilatingGrid
Quirk: Good syntax and grammar. Sentences are preceded by -:- and occasionally she ends with it as well. She replaces double T’s and the word number with a #. She frequently uses emotions that contain numbers and roman numeral letters: X0, X3, XI, 0m0, etc. She doesn’t use ! or ? when typing to show that she lacks some emotion, but will use ellipses and periods.
I like the emotes, and I agree with the prefix for the symbol you gave her. However, with the new symbol it doesn’t really fit. Since the single dagger one kind of looks like a t, maybe she could attttemptt tto emulatte her symbol by uttilising double tt’s?
Personality: She is friendly and naturally polite to all trolls, despite the color of their blood. This is because she is indiscriminate of blood and actually likes all the colors. She is strategic but clumsy, which means that most of her plans fail miserably. She enjoys being a bit of a manipulator at times to get the most favorable outcomes of a situation. Because of her fascination with death and murder, she can be unsympathetic of others. She is sometimes regarded as a bit crazy.
I have to say, I’m seeing this as a bit contradictory: she’s friendly but unsympathetic, manipulative but clumsy? I think it’s just the way this is written up, however. As far as I can tell, she’s polite to everyone, but doesn’t actually feel for them and will manipulate them if she needs something, correct?
Likes: mysterious murders, assassination, blood, editing, murderous fan-fics, detective stories, chess, extinct creatures.
Cool! Note on fanfics written below.
Dislikes: blood discrimination, being clumsy, soft killers, when plans go wrong, screaming, ransom notes. (She HATES ransom notes.)
Biography: Ori lives in a typical Alternian blueblood abode with her lusus Aoi. However, it is located in a forest and looks almost like a majestic castle from a fairy tale. It is built over ample moist leaves so her lusus can stay wet. She is fascinated by death and is an amateur assassin. She has never successfully killed anyone because of her clumsiness, though. She tests her daggers often and will sometimes captchalogue items for the sake of practicing her killing skills. She also dabbles in writing fan-fictions about murder, which will either involve the protagonists from the detective stories she likes or her friends. Her other notable interests are editing writing (hers or that of her friends) and reptilian or amphibian fossils.
I think it’s great that she’s an ‘amateur assassin’ but hasn’t actually killed anyone. If she lives in the woods, perhaps she tests her daggers by killing animals every once in a while? I think that her dabbling in writing is good, but I actually wouldn’t make it fanfiction. She can write murder mysteries influenced from her favourite detective stories, but fanfiction has connotations that I don’t think go well with her.
(So this is Origele, one of my more developed fan trolls. I don’t know what her hero title would be but I assume that she would make a good derse dreamer. Maybe as a Rogue hero? I know that her symbol is a bit generic but i hope I did something creative with it. Same goes with her typing quirk. Her horns kind of don’t make sense because I wasn’t sure how to shape them. I tired to make them look like dots, like in her symbol. One last thing is that yes, her hair is in a ponytail. I’ve read some info in your references and know now that hair pinned up isn’t usually done for trolls of Alternia.)
I think she’s an awesome fantroll! Derse sounds right for her, and so does Rogue, of Blood perhaps? Not only does this fit in well with her interests, but Blood is very friendship-based and Rogues are supposed to share, in a way, their aspect. These are both things she could work on as a character, and God Tier is supposed to challenge a player. I’m going to try something different with her horns in the next one, as these do look a bit odd. If you have a good reason for her hair to be in a ponytail, especially since she’s a highblood, I think it’s okay.
So to start, I made her horns look like the end of the new dagger symbol. Then I poofed up the top of her hair a bit, and rearranged her face to fit the norm of Homestuck sprites. I exchanged her symbol for the dagger one, and then just for fun I took her hair down, to see what it looks like. I also added bags under her eyes, which, by the way, I forgot to do with Memmie, for which I apologise! Overall, I really love her design, and the one-shoulder shirt looks really cool.
