KEEPING THE SAME ENERGY:DJ CUPPY IS NO LONGER WACK!!!
After Jollof on the Jet, Karma and the most recent one, Litty Lit, if I hear anyone say DJ Cuppy no sabi music, I go slap the person for face.
I won't lie I was among the great multitude who begged DJ Cuppy to quit music and save our broken ears after her string of audio crimes like Gelato & co. Like, I almost DMed her billionaire father to help us beg her.
But with the release of her debut album in 2020 titled #OriginalCuppy , this girl has practically undergone a 180 with her songs. They are jams!!!! From the sonorous Rema gibberish hook flavoured Jollof On The Jet to Stonebwoy partois ganished Karma to Teni's fun peppered Litty Lit, they are all smash hits.
Funny enough, unlike other collaboration centric performers like Larry Gaaga & DJ Spinall, who play silent roles in their hits songs, Cuppy was singing(more like chanting but she sha participated) in this jams!!!!! Wow! Go girl!!!!
This shows that criticism when channelled into self development is one of the most potent ingredients of success.
Someone help me tell Cuppy that she doing well and she should keep up the good job. And that am not sorry I was among those who criticised her because it kinda inspired her.
I am officially a cupcake.
