I do not usually make posts like this but my heart goes out to the families & loved ones of the victims of the Bondi Beach Shooting in Austrailia. May their memories be a blessing. The Jewish community of Austrailia has faced some truly horrific antisemitism over the last few years and I can’t even put into words how much my heart hurts for you. Your pain is real and does not go unheard.
Have you heard of the Yiddish psychedelic rock band Forshpiel? I had the pleasure of seeing them live earlier this year and they've got a fantastic sound! I highly recommend their latest album Tsvey :)
the name sounds familiar, i think i've come across them in my hunts for yiddish music in the past, but i don't think i've actually sat down and listened to them! i'll have to do that this weekend, thank you!! (: gut shabbos!
