Tears that drop like rain

Rain the size of tears

If I stand in a thunderstorm, 

Would you think they’d notice

Would anyone notice

How much I cry?

Flickering headlights

Red cups

Blue mornings

Sleeping in a teal car

Stumbling through the grass

To get to the next headache

Tangled bodies laying on the floor

And now I sip on water and think:

"Damn, that party was dope."

Bathroom Book?

That's all it took

I said I had a secret nook

I said we had to sneak a look

Before we started to unhook

That's when the feeling overtook

Our outward in parts shook and shook

I castled with my queenside rook

As bliss resurged by hook or crook

And no amount of gobbledy gook

Would ever ever be mistook

For the joy we undertook

And the dreams we’ve since forsook

The truth abides with eyes to look
