The journey toward becoming my best self has been quite the journey & a struggle in tons of ways. Can anyone else relate? “Letting Go” has been among the highest of hurdles for me. Far too often I attach myself to things; people; situations; desires etc., and when things don’t work out “the way I want them to”, frustration shows up in forms of annoyance; irritation & excessive complaints (venting). Phase two leads to this mental enslavement, where I’m consumed with whatever it is, regardless of other areas that require my focus & attention. In so doing, I’ve been consciously & unconsciously robbing myself and others of the best of my energy. Robbing myself the opportunity of enjoyed fulfillment of growth processes through observation. This melody has been the perfect medicine whenever the disease of “attachment” shows up. It has been the perfect tool used to ward off those pesky symptoms that paralyze progress. Stressing over even the smallest of things hasn’t served me positively. No more wasted time worrying about the fruit to come from efforts. No more concern about the unknown. No more enslavement to desires. No more tantrums - mental or otherwise. I just want to be an active participant in the practice of “Letting Go”. All things are working in my favor anyhow.
