how was it they ended up in this situation ? evanora was never on his side . it wasn’t difficult for anyone to see that she would rejoice in his demise . finally, at long last . his death would bring her peace . but this isn’t what she planned . her desire for the throne was one thing, but her pride was a much greater vice . this was not her doing . she cannot blame the true perpetrator for harming the king, but the thought of any more damage being done made her skin crawl . there was no doubt in her mind that it was oscar’s arrogance that led them to attack him . but who did they think they were ? if he was going to die by anyone’s hand, it would be hers . they might have left oz behind with his wounds, but whoever it was that caused this mess would soon face her wrath . she would make sure of it .
