Instigate (Original Action/Adventure/Lesbian Story) Part 7
Alina’s heart was racing inside her chest, she couldn’t believe she just tasted Amanda’s lips onto hers. She loved it; she loved Amanda’s incredibly soft hands caressing her, her tongue playing around inside her mouth, her warmth mixing with her own and her delicious sweet smell... “Jesus Christ... Did I really fell for her?” Alina whispered to herself, she couldn’t believe her heart was stolen by the blue eyed woman, she had never felt something like this. She was afraid of it.
“Hey, you!” Alina yelled to a pretty maid that was passing by, while massaging her temples; she was still out of herself. The maid noticed and deduced the lady wasn’t feeling well. “Are you ok, my lady?” The maid asked softly, with a worried face between being afraid Alina wasn’t in a good mood and that she may have gotten sick. “I’m fine, sorry for calling you like this.” Alina apologized and it was a bit strange for the maid, since she usually didn’t act that way. Alina noticed the puzzled look on the maids face and ignored it for the time being, her cheeks turning a light pink. “Please send our guest these pills along with a well cooked breakfast.” The hazel eyed woman took the maids hand and deposited the bottle there, leaving the woman behind to carry on the task just received.
Amanda was still resting, her body felt over-used and she probably needed more sleep, but she wasn’t going to stay there on Alina’s house taking advantage of her hospitality. She decided to get off of the bed and change her clothing but when she was about to move a knock on the door stopped her on her tracks. “I’m one of the lady’s maids, I brought breakfast.” The woman announced and opened the door to see Amanda’s awkward smile. Even though the maid didn’t notice and thought Amanda’s smile was cute, the other woman had a small knife under the sheets, just in case.
“Hello there, thank you for the food. What’s your name?” Amanda casually asked in a flirty tone when receiving the food on a bed tray in front of her, making the other woman blush a little. “I’m sorry my lady, but our names shouldn’t be said.” The woman smiled, leaving the pills on one side of the tray. “What’s this?” Amanda asked taking the bottle in her hands, naturally suspicious of it. “Lady Alina asked to give you these along with a well cooked breakfast.” The maid simply answered, taking a position beside the door, waiting for Amanda to finish her meal or to tell her to go.
“Well, these are just painkillers and I won’t be needing them so, I’ll just eat this amazing looking meal. Is it poisoned?” Amanda asked jokingly but with a serious stare which made the maid nervous and stumble with her words. “W-what?!... N-no...” The woman’s straight posture became all crooked with nervousness. “Hahahaha! Relax, relax, I’m just joking. I’m naughty like that.” Amanda replied with her natural flirting tone while taking a sip of her coffee, she was usually like this with everyone she didn’t know as a defense mechanism.
“In all seriousness, was this meal made by you? It is delicious!” Amanda said truthfully this time and the maid smiled softly with her cheeks turning red.
“Hahahaha!” Alina heard chuckles and laughter behind the door she was about to enter. “Is this Amanda and... the maid?” A surge of jealousness entered her body when she kept listening both people having a pleasant conversation, more like Amanda “flirting” with her maid and the other woman replying to it. The hazel eyed woman opened the door without thinking and both women inside stopped talking, looking straight at her with a surprised look on their faces.
Silence overpowered the room and Alina’s face had a small frown adorning it, Amanda noticed right away and told the maid to leave the room with just a look, since she suspected something or someone was going to explode. The maid left silently and without looking at Alina’s eyes, not without doing the usual reverence first.
“What was that?” Alina asked Amanda, and the woman in the bed got confused at the question. “What was what?” Amanda didn’t know what the fuck just happened. “Were you flirting with my maid just now?” Alina didn’t sugarcoat the question at all, she didn’t know why she felt her chest making knots. Amanda’s face turned serious and analyzed her next words carefully. “... Are you jealous?” And apparently she didn’t analyze enough because Alina’s frown got bigger and suddenly she left the room, leaving the door completely open.
“What did I do now?...” Amanda whispered to herself, but she kind of suspected what was going on, Alina was jealous and mad at her because of it. She knew her usual behavior of flirting with other people may have gotten to Alina’s nerves, specially if it was one of her employees. Her body felt like shit, but she didn’t let that stop her from changing clothes and look for the hazel eyed woman, she wanted to apologize even though she felt she didn’t do anything wrong.
Alina’s chest felt heavy; a sensation you get when you’re extremely jealous and your heart broken, but she didn’t understand why. Amanda wasn’t her partner, they weren’t even dating, why was she reacting this way, she shouldn’t care. Her footsteps echoed all the way to the outside of the mansion, through the garden, she needed to sort her head right at that moment or else. Her feelings were all over the place and she couldn’t control them. She was about to enter through a beautiful arch made of bushes when she felt a delicate hand grabbing her forearm, stopping her abruptly.
“Alina...” She heard that beautiful voice that made her melt, she didn’t know since when she found it beautiful though. “What are you doing out of bed? You should be resting.” Alina said with a worried voice masked with a bit of anger, kind of forgetting the reason why they were in that current situation. “You didn’t give me a choice. I got worried about you since you left in such an angry manner...” Amanda said and Alina could see in her eyes confusion and sadness mixed in together. “I... I...” Alina couldn’t muster the words she was thinking and Amanda loosened the grip on her forearm lowering her head down a bit.
“I know I may come up as an asshole most of the times...” Amanda started to explain, searching for a way to fix the current wall between them somehow. She didn’t want to loose the closeness she had achieved with Alina, she really liked her a lot, more than anyone she had ever met. “The flirting you heard wasn’t as real as you think, I do that when I want to know who I am dealing with.” Her hand left Alina’s forearm completely but she came closer, getting inside the hazel eyed woman’s personal space. “I don’t trust people easily and I thought that woman was going to kill me, either with the pills or with the food, so I had to use some tricks up my sleeve to find out...” Amanda was feeling anxious, she didn’t want to loose Alina without even having her, she wanted to be with her badly even though she denied it so many times before.
“I like you so much, Alina...” Amanda held the other woman’s face with both hands softly and Alina’s breath hitched at the touch. The hazel eyed woman was still silent but she didn’t look mad anymore, her eyes softened quickly at Amanda’s words. “You’re the only one that has been able to make me feel this way... You could kill me if you want right at this moment, since you’re my biggest weakness...” Amanda’s voice came out so soft almost like a whisper but mixed in with such a passion that the other woman’s heart skipped a beat. Alina’s eyes narrowed down and stared at the other woman’s lips while her sneaky hands pulled her from the hips abruptly, stealing a deep sigh from Amanda’s lips. Their faces were now only inches away from each other.
They almost kissed if it weren’t for Alina’s cellphone interrupting the moment so abruptly. Alina’s face changed to one of concern while releasing Amanda from her grasp, usually all the times she would get a phone call it would be for the worst news. She held the phone in her hand, tentatively, not knowing if to actually pick it up since she didn’t recognize the number. “Are you going to answer?” Amanda asked a bit worried, wondering if Alina knew who the caller was. Alina answered and her face shifted again to hatred when she heard the voice on the other side. “What do you want?” The hazel eyed woman said and Amanda kept quiet trying to decipher what was going on.
“Remember the favor you promised me?” The voice of her father in jail sounded through the device. Alina had forgotten completely about the favor she promised the man when he gave her Amanda’s location a while back, when she was looking for her for a whole different reason. “Yes, I remember.” The woman gritted her teeth inside her mouth, she was a woman of her word but she hated the fact she gave it to the wrong man for the wrong reasons. “Well, I need you to marry the governor. Details will be sent soon.” And the man hanged up.
Alina’s eyes were open like plates, she was in shock. Her eyes looked straight into Amanda’s deep blue ones and somehow the other woman could read she wasn’t fine. “Hey, what happened?!” Amanda touched Alina’s cheek softly closing in on her but Alina stepped back, building another wall between them, leaving Amanda’s hand in the air. “We have to stop seeing each other.” Alina said with a cold tone that hurt deep inside of her and she imagined Amanda would take it badly as well. “Why?” Amanda’s semblance changed to a serious one, she knew something had happened and she wasn’t giving up on Alina that easy either way.
“I’m marrying the governor soon.” Alina replied, looking elsewhere, she wasn’t happy with the outcome of her day. She knew something this fucked up would end up happening soon enough. “Like hell you will.” Amanda blurted out, serious as hell, she was getting angry by the minute. “I won’t let you” She said following up. “I have to.” Alina said absent minded. “Why?! Do you love him or something?!” Amanda yelled with anxiety in her voice, her chest was feeling heavy now and her heart felt like it was making knots. “Of course not!” Alina answered with a similar anxiety in her voice, she looked at Amanda’s eyes and she wanted desperately to embrace her. She wanted to tell her she was the one she loved, but she couldn’t, just to make things easier.
“Leave.” Alina turned around and gave Amanda her back, she wasn’t able to hold the other woman’s gaze anymore. “Fine. I’ll leave.” Alina was surprised at Amanda’s reply and turned around to see her again, she couldn’t believe what she saw. Amanda had tears dropping down her cheeks slowly; she noticed Alina’s gaze and cleaned them up with the back side of her hand, trying to hide the fact she was deeply hurt.
