now that they were back in the safety of their own place, the paranoia she was feeling that someone might have followed them has finally left. it was the first successful con that they were able to perform, one where she actually had a pretty good part in making it all work out. no wonder people get into this kind of job, the adrenaline rush she was feeling was making her all giddy. "i can't believe no one suspected a thing! that jewel looks really beautiful," briar said with a sigh, awe filling her voice as she looked at the brilliant diamond necklace they got ( or took ) from the auction. ocean hues peered up at the male fondly, the brunette asked him, “do you think they’ll be satisfied with this one?”

Olivia had a smile on her face. She always got this happy when Jake brought her to a family party. She loved his family. They were always so nice and funny. The blue eyes looked around until she spotted him. Her heart stopped beating. His smile was breathtaking. How did someone look this good? Her mind was drawn back when a kiss was placed on her cheek. Turning her head, she caught sight of Jake. “Hi.” She greeted him before giving him a peck on the lips. Her eyes looking back to the other man across the room. 

Olivia loved Jake. He was attractive, funny, and he sometimes had a sweet side. Not that he was mean or anything, he just didn’t seem to be all into romance or whatever Olivia wanted to do most days. But she didn’t mind curling next to him as he watched a big game. They have been dating for a year. Everything about them was perfect. She never thought she’d meet someone as amazing as him. Well, that was until Nathan walked into the room the first time they met. It seemed like the world stopped.

Throughout the party, the blonde kept looking over at Nathan. Hoping that he would look her way and feel something that she was feeling. The party was soon going to end, and she was saddened by the fact that she wouldn’t see him until who knows when. She really loved the family parties.

Luna made sure the scarf was in place as she walked into Daniels office. He’d been less than pleased with her during their last conversation and she doubted he’d like seeing marks on her that he hadn’t caused. “So I was told there was a pop quiz that I missed. Can I make that up or are you going to flunk me since you’re upset with me?”
