this is my resolution to be less bitchy
Idk if I’m just getting to that age when I feel old and dgaf about anyone else except myself and the very VERY few people that I actually care about, or if I’m just too preoccupied by all the shit that’s going on in my life right now, but recently I’ve been a fat bitch to anyone whose not already my friend or anyone who I don’t need something from, most notably the newest addition to my (now) triple. (Yeah, and fuck you LA for your incredibly high housing rates like who do you think I am.)
However, today, a complete stranger did something unexpectedly kind for me by prioritizing my needs above whatever else he had to do, even though he was under no obligation to do so, and it literally brightened up the entirety of what had been a super shitty/exhaustingly long week. Like I was literally curled up in bed too stressed to move, and then when I finally forced myself to get up, I checked my email, and the first thing I saw was that he had emailed me what I had asked for, only an hour after I had asked (ok more like begged) for him to do so/met him for the very first time.
Besides making me nearly cry tears of joy (no but really), this also made me reflect on and feel bad for my own bitchy attitude LOL. So anyways, this is my resolution to be less of a bitch, because even though it’s corny/cliche as fuck - so much so that it literally pains me to type this out - you really never know what a small act of kindness can do for someone else. Honestly kind of disappointed in myself for forgetting this golden rule...
