Okay, I'm doing another ork oc rant.
Duffgrub, who's an evil sun warboss, and a flyboy at that! Preferring to be as far away from the ground as possible.
He refuses to walk on the ground. Instead driving or flying everywhere and when he needs to get out he gets carried around on top of shield being held up by some boyz ( Pretty much like vitalstatistix gets carried around in asterix and obelix)
When he was a yoof and was getting out from the ground as a stripling he got stuck in the cocoon (he was just too deep down) and he just got stuck. As he started to try to claw his way out dirt started to fall on top of him making it hard to breath and move ending up almost burying him alive. He almost died but in the end just barely made it out as a runtherder notice him struggling and helped him out. This experience made Duffgrubb see the ground as his enemy (and also made him have a great fear for it).
When he was a boy he bullied grots to hold him up. However this soon caused issues with his warboss. The boss didn’t like that Duffgrubb being held up made him taller then him so he grabbed Duffgrubb and pulled him off, tossing him face down into the dirt. Duffgrub went into a blind panic and clawed and scratched, acidently killing the warboss and stood on his corpse, to get off the ground. When Duffgrubb calmed down enough he realised this had made him the warboss. A tittle he took with stride and exchanged his carriers from grots to orks.
He refuses to admit he's actually afraid of the ground. Instead saying some excuse along the lines of he's just too good for walking, he dosen't want his boots dirty or arguing the ground is their enemy. For example:
"The ground is the number one killer of planes. Because if you get shot down, you're not dead before you hit the ground and it kills ya. Therefore, the dirt is the one that kills ya"
His prefers using a spear hooked to a line, both to just stab down at gits bellow him but also to throw it at enemies just to then yank them up to the shield so he can have a go at them as he can't really fight them face to face otherwise (unless the boyz tosses someone up to him).
