A Day In The Life: Background Characters (Naruto)
Today was a solemn day. Just like the ones before it. I went to the market to get some pears. I got there just in time. They were almost out.
When I got home, our little dog, Chimpy, went berserk. He always does when I get home from the market. I can always count on him to give me a little joy in my life.
My son, Ronin, is still out on his C-Rank mission with his squad. I’m just glad it’s only a C-Rank mission. This way, I won’t worry myself to death about what he’s doing or if he’s okay.
Though most days are the same, I’ll occasionally receive some excitement. Some ninja will fly over the buildings and it will remind me of when I was a boy.
Back then, anything seemed possible. I felt I could conquer the world if I so desired. But all I desired was to protect it.
Though things are much different now. Everything changed for me when I met Maria, my lovely wife. She’s always kept me down to Earth, rather than in the clouds.
Speaking of clouds: I’m reminded of an old story a was once told as a ---HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUCK A GIANT SNAKE JUST DESTROYED MY HOUSE!!! FUCK YOU, OROCHIMARU!!!!
