On this day in 1961, Mexican filmmaker Alfonso Cuaron Orozca was born.  Although you might not recognize his name, you'll no doubt recognize his films: Y Tu Mama Tambien, The Prisoner of Azkaban, Children of Men and his role as producer on Pan's Labyrinth.  Enclosed is a still shot from Children of Men, which features a mind boggling 6 1/2 minute long steadicam sequence.  The thing is, it's a multiple cut sequence, can you spot the cuts?  If you haven't seen it yet, go and do so now, this is what film making is all about.
