I do love it when they start young. 

Strange to see another with my name though. You also have a John though in a different capacity. Hmm, perhaps I will finally be able to finish my research on multi-linear time differences if this keeps up.      Mr A knocked again as he stood outside 221 Baker St, looking rather like a man who had forgotten his keys or, worse, locked out of his flat. He should've called beforehand--should've expected that Mrs Hudson would perhaps be out for the holidays to celebrate with her family--but he was around the area, so he supposed he might as well stop by to bring her a late Christmas present.

     He exhaled slowly, breath escaping from his mouth like cigarette smoke, and knocked one more time.

Another child. Sherlock hadn't the greatest of luck with children, as the last she had met was actually the child of a deity. An odd encounter to say the least. "Are you in need of something?" she queried, giving a relatively fair attempt at politeness.
