A traditional "knight saves the princess" story except at the end, the princess sighs and goes, "I suppose you want my hand in marriage as a reward" and the knight goes, "Oh, no, I'm just new in town and wanted to make friends but I've got really bad social anxiety" and the princess is like, "Rad, because I was never gonna fall in love with you" and they live happily ever after as besties (they're both aroace).

Whether you see Obi confessing to liking both Zen and Shirayuki as a love triangle or a potential polycule, I think it's so fucking special and important that it happened.

If it does remain a love triangle, it's the healthiest love triangle I have ever seen in media and is certainly the only properly accurate love triangle I've seen. I say this truly and genuinely.

Obi has never shown any jealousy toward Zen and Shirayuki's relationship, nor any interest in getting in between them. He has, instead, dedicated his life to making sure that they are both happy and safe. What truly makes him happy, is seeing them happy.

While he has shown to be contemplating and waiting for the right time to confess to Shirayuki, he has been meticulously careful regarding when he will do so, so that it will not get in the way of or distract her and Zen from their goals.

And if it does become a canonical polycule, well, it's important because it'd be one of the few true canonical polycule ships in media, at least I've seen. It's also important to remember, in regards to this, that Zen confessed back.

Perhaps most do not interpret Zen's, "I've been a fan of yours for a while" statement as romantic, which, so be it, you are free to believe whatever you wish, but in the middle of a romantic confession from Obi, I personally cannot interpret it any other way.

Shirayuki has continually reiterated how important Obi is to her, and how he inspires her just as much as Zen does. How his arrival in Lilias made it clear to her just how much she wants to move forward with her goals of being the best herbalist and "ally" to Clarines and Zen possible, and to earn Izana's respect, by aiming to work as Wirant castle. How him just being there motivated her to truly choose and cement that as her goal.

So, if it is revealed, at some point if and/or when Obi finally confesses to her, that she also returns those feelings, than I know that it won't be a surprise, "out of the blue", or "forced", as I know some people will certainly try to claim it is.

And, of course, Obi's canonical bisexuality alone makes him, his relationships to Shirayuki and Zen, and the confession, extremely special. Bisexual men do not get a lot of rep in media, and if Zen truly does love Obi back, as I wholeheartedly believe, then that would make two bisexual men in one series.

I also think Shirayuki is bisexual, with several instances of her shown to be in awe of, and blushing, at pretty women, including Kiki in the bath scene. So, that makes THREE bisexual characters, in one series, all potentially in a love triangle OR future polycule.

In any case, I adore zenyuki, and while I don't ship specifically obiyuki by itself, I do ship obizenyuki, and whether or not their relationship stays as a love triangle or progresses into a polycule, I'm happy.

It's such a small, completely unimportant detail but I constantly, and I mean CONSTANTLY, wonder how that train got into that hoop. Did N throw it in there, as a child might, just to see if it would go through? Was he playing with it and threw it and it happened to land in the hoop and get stuck? Did he throw it in a fit of anger? Confusion? ...did Ghetsis throw it - at N - in a fit of frustration, and it missed, and landed in the hoop?

The basketball has been used a lot, it appears, but with the train stuck in the hoop, how does he play with it? The train that belongs to the set of tracks that seemed to have been played with recently... which is also broken, or at the very least, not put all the way together. So... did the train end up in the hoop recently?

And, of course, there's the rare candy left in the room. N, I don't think, would ever force his Pokemon to level up with artificial means. Did he leave the rare candy behind in disgust at the mere thought? Did he leave it behind for the player, as a test, perhaps? To see if they, too, would leave it or if they would use it on their Pokemon in an attempt to have an advantage against him in the final fight?

Did he go back into his childhood room, one last time, to remind himself of his dreams and goals? Did he play with his toys, just one last time, to try and clear his head, to feel some semblance of normalcy and freedom from burdens, one last time, before he became king, not just of Team Plasma but of all of Unova?

I know it's probably nothing, but everything was put there for a reason, and the story that the room show us reveals to us, just as much, if not more, about N's character, as the story tells us up-front. And it has been stuck in my brain for years. It's always there, rotating in my brain like a baked potato being reheated in the microwave.

I think a new character should come in and have a crush on Alastor and he's just like ??? and Charlie or Rosie or even Niffty goes, "You're shooting your shot in the wrong direction; not even Cupid's arrow could make him fall in love with someone" and then we get a play on the word aro just like we got for ace, and the aro community gets to hear their identity mentioned in media for the first time.

Science has established that humans are social creatures, but the way society tries to dictate how we interact with people is kinda fucked up. I don’t need a lover to be social. I don’t need a sexual partner to be social. Some people don’t need friends to be social.

Sure, humans might have evolved to desire connection with people, but it’s nobody’s right or business to try and tell us how we connect with them. Also biology is funky and broad and not always precise. Scientists are learning new things and disproving things all the time.

So, yeah. Biology is weird, fuck amatonomativity, and you determine how you want to be social.

oh... oh the truly delicious foil between melora sending rain when orym took the blade, something that causes plants to grow, and then laudna trying to get rid of the vines by using wither and bloom against the vines (and accidentally him).

melora approving orym taking the blade and putting everyone's and the world's burdens on his shoulders, and delilah encouraging laudna to take the blade to relieve the hurt she was feeling and to protect orym (and the others).

orym, who already had a blade gifted to him but also took the one who killed his family. laudna, who already had magic but uses the magic given to her by the one who killed her family (and her).

both of them seeing their worth in what they can do for others, how much they can sacrifice for the people they love, and willing to take whatever dark measures necessary to do it, and melora and delilah enabling them.

both of them being taken advantage of for being vulnerable and hurting and taking the opportunity to give them a "purpose" or a way to achieve their personal goals, but only giving them what they need to achieve that purpose when they are desperate as a way to keep their... continued support (used very loosely).

and oh... the absolutely delectable parallel between the rain stopping when dorian told orym that he didn't need to save everyone and delilah's voice and visage disappearing when imogen held laudna and told her that she loved her.

everything about them... the plant parallels, the life/death foils, their sun and moon motifs, the shared experience of death and abuse, the shared belief that their self-worth was tied to their worth to others, both feeling saved and grounded by the one they love.

orym and laudna are profoundly alike, yet fundamentally doomed by the narrative to end up where they are right now. the potential of them being the closest of friends with an unbreakable bond and the inevitability of their differences breaking them and causing a rift between the people they care about is what truly hurts the most.

What if the stitches along Alastor's body and mouth are actually keeping his powers in? He came to Hell so powerful that it was unheard of. Maybe he has to physically keep his magic locked up and carefully release it a little at a time otherwise it could go berserk or take him over or something.

And what if his shadow is a manifestation of magic that's leaking from his body. He can summon other shadows and entities using the magic he can tap into, but the one that sticks with him at all times and envelopes him when he travels is formed from and connected to the magic he can't control.

i love mega dragonite so freaking much. it singlehandedly convinced me to buy legends za (i have not been interested in it at all up until now). i don't care what anyone says, it's perfect.

it's supposed to be an exaggeration of dragonair's features, not just copy and pasting them. it also works well with it's mega evo dex entry, giving the appearance of being large, kind, and helpful, while also dealing devastating damage while never dropping its smile but always willing to drop everything to heal someone injured.

also, designs with wings on the head are just. always peak. think of how expressive they can be, just like ears. who CARES about "balance" and "gravity" and "there's no way it could fly!" like okay bees aren't supposed to be able to fly either, but they be buzzing around. but most importantly, IT'S A FUCKING FANTASY DRAGON.
