What do you do with the leftover pieces of floss from embroidery projects (called orts)? You make art with them! The bottom two are Mount Flossuvius and The Parting of the Thread Sea.

Several years ago I bought a box of needlework fabric. I’m now finally going through it to kit up patterns I have. This particular linen fabric had stitching on it…unfortunately I couldn’t match the pattern used for this. 😔

Frogging the stitching and will kit this once it’s washed and dried. There’s a few other fabrics with small areas of stitching. If I can match the pattern, I’ll finish the pieces.
