Anything's An Instrument If You Try Hard Enough -- Orvin and his shovel guitar, lovingly crafted by him and Jacob from bits and bobs in Jacob's junkheap.
Personal headcanon: he's playing Teardrop. The José González version.

I started playing Pokémon again (Both Switch and Sun!) and I realised that I had this guy named Orvi from Pokémon X/Y with his poofy doggo 2CD.

Being sick is a good excuse for using my sketchbook like a colouring book: Feat. Orvin - my artistic, space-bard solar-punk who loves to push the envelope of acceptable in Alpha Base until he gets stomped on for it.
Then he’ll just do it again but louder.
Happy Canada Day from (a decent chunk of) my cast of Space Canucks. We're going to pretend for a hot minute that they actually get along well enough and have a chance to enjoy the best part of the day: explosions!
Orvin pretty much thinks Elliot is the coolest person ever: daughter of legendary rebels, on shockingly friendly terms with the local assassin, as brilliant with fixing broken mechanical things as her uncle is, and she has nearly unfettered access to both the radio tower and the Archive at HQ.
Plus she's nice. :3

I wasn't always getting anything completed, but I've doodled a bunch over the last while. It's entirely Alpha Base - I'm sorry, that's where I live these days - and some of these might (maybe!) get revisited and turned into more finished things? If not, they still make good scribbles.
The first page is the most recent. Tim bought me two new sketchbooks as early presents for my birthday (it's next Wednesday) and I'm determined to fill them with whatever is in my head. Just any and all thoughts. Into the book they go! Next up was some anatomy studies with Errick from my old and getting-very-beat-up Compoco notebook that I've been using for a few years. And last is a compilation of iPad scribbles that went nowhere. When I'm stressed I really like drawing eyes. >>
In the new sketchbook, I have to laugh that while I am absolutely not turning Alpha Base into a comic, years of comic-making has me in the habit of doodling scenes as out-of-context comic panels anyway. Speech bubbles abound.
Paul & Orvin (are not buddies)
Playing with fire there, 'Vin.
