It's the Osmotherly Country Show! A trip to the country isn't the same without a country show. They always remind me of the Alan Partridge episode when he's the fair commentator - THE FAIR! THE FAIR IS ON FIRE! The best part of a country show has to be the competitions - best eggs, bread and vegetable creatures. Charlie thoroughly enjoyed seeing the cattle and the agility races.

Whitby

So yesterday I went to Whitby with my lovely boyfriend and had the best day I've had in a very long while. All day long I could do nothing but smile. We looked in lovely shops, ate fish & chips for dinner, bought some presents for our families, played crazy golf & ate ice creams. Then when I didn't want to come straight home when we had nothing else to do in Whitby he took me on a drive and we ended up at a ruined castle somewhere that I can't remember the name of and there was no one else there. We climbed up the ruins into a little room and then out the back where the dungeons used to be and it was just such a lovely place. Then he took me to Osmotherly reserviour & we had a walk along there & he skimmed some stones whilst I sat & watched some baby ducklings.

I didn't ever want the day to end.
