⛰ SO FRESH ⛰ . This was the view from cottage in Zazriva. I remember winter of 2017 during which I was trying to find cool views of Rozsutec mountain and valleys beneath the hill. At that time unsuccessfull. ⛰ MISTY FOREST ⛰ . The weather was ideal for hiking actually. It was below 20°C and sun was hidden above several layers of clouds and mist. Of course, at least half of the time it was raining. Mostly it was only mild rain, but few minutes it appeared to be heavy rain. The good thing was that we were in the forest. . There was also mud. A lot of it. But we weren't that much muddy because of wet tall grass everywhere which was constantly cleaning us 🤡 . Our shoes are chapter itself. Totally wet from inside after an hour of walking. Having back-up socks wasn't doing the job. Feet were just soaking wet and we had to live with that. . Despite all of this, feeling after hiking was positive. ⛰ HIKING ON A RAINY DAY?⛰ . Why not? Of course we checked the weather forecast for thunderstorms - that is a 'no go'. . We decided to go on an easy hike to mountain called Osnica. There are several ways how to get there, and due to the rainy weather we decided to go with the shortest way - just 4,5km away from our cars. We parked at the end of village called Biela. Mountain is known for beautiful views of Velky Rozsutec mountain. .
