It's most likely that i just don't engage with THAT much media but i find it slightly concerning that with mlm, even with hurdles of classifying two men in their thirties as "old man yaoi"... Most yuri couples i can think of are either teens, or very young. And even when they are not young per say they look and , occasionally, sorta act like teenagers (think bubbleene). Then it got me thinking that older wemen are massively underrepresented in media in general and oftentimes don't have bonds outside of "that one colleague" or mom to any given character.

Anyways please give suggestions, i NEED some yuri that is not coming of age bs like PLEASE. I need them both to be over 40 😭

Came to a realisation i cannot fully indulge in tv series a lot of the time not only because they're long as fuck and it's a big commitment but because i also like to wriggle in shit like a work to pick up little inklings of what i like and make AUs and my own scenarios and headcanons. To basically rewrite it to my liking. When something is already good it's harder for me to do evidently. Not that i DONT engage with good media, i just don't get into the fandom aspect as much. It's probably a sign of me being stupid but i like to think of my creator side winning against my consumer part...

Just a little request

I'm not a person to kinkshame or judge people for their coping mechanisms or something of that sort

But if you have written/drawn underage characters in explicit scenarios or romanticised incest, kindly do not interact with my work. I often go through the pages of my mutuals or people who reblog cuz i want to get to know my audience and these kind of things make me really really upset due to personal trauma. I believe in free speech but anything to do with kids is a very thin line few shall walk in my opinion. That's all I'll say on the matter.
