Pohjanmaalla Vaasan eteläpuolella uuden asuinalueen rakentamisen maansiirtotöiden yhteydessä kalliosta löytyi ainutlaatuinen halkeama, joka on tutkijoiden mukaan erittäin harvinainen.

Trivia:

-The Söderfjärden impact crater is only dry impact crater in Finland! All other 11 impact craters are at least partly lakes...

-Söderfjärden was formerly a sea bay that was dried in the early 20th century with the diesel pumps.

The Dutch were very interested in this Finnish drainage operation, because at the same time they were starting their own water drainage work in the Zuiderzee. 

-Pike made of stockfish (Kapahauki in Finnish language!) from Söderfjärden was the Swedish king Gustav I Vasa mind!

-The Söderfjärden people had to pay their taxes to the king of the stockfish... And they faithfully delivered the stockfish to where the king was at that time...
