my cousin took ap latin at fairfax and he got the highest score on the ap latin exam in their school history : a 4

not even their teacher got a 5. it is impossible to get a 5 on that exam

the multiple choice section was an hour long. it had 4 passages in latin and we had to answer stuff about grammar and reading comprehension, mostly. occassionally history (which i COMPLETELY FORGOT LMFAO) when the passage was from the aeneid, it asked about this method of reading it called scansion, and literary devices. real esoteric and obsolete shit like tmesis and transferred epithets

THEN FOR THE FREE RESPONSE oh my god it was 2 hours. they had us translate a caesar and an aeneid passage, write a compatative essay between the aeneid and caesar, and short answers for both of them too. I wrote 2 sentences for that comparative essay
