When they first showed us that Riley had feelings for MacGyver, I was worried that they would try to force a romance subplot down our throats. So I am very grateful that the approach they seem to be taking is “Oh, feelings. How problematic.”
I’ve just struggled through one too many fictional love triangles to find them interesting anymore. I hope Riley gets swept off her feet by another awesome love interest. She deserves the world.
I also wouldn’t say no to an OT3, but I doubt that’s coming.
