Otakar Lebeda (1877-1901) was a Czech painter, one of the most prominent pupil's of Julious Mařák who used his scholarship to spent it in Paris and Barbizon. At first he was influenced by realism but in his later works you'd find more and more elements of expressionism. Lebeda's seemingly peaceful and trouble-free life ended by his own hand for an unknown reason when he was 24 years old.
