Ah, okay, thank you! The, could I request fluffy headcanons with Haiji [Run with the wind], Kageyama [Haikyuu!!] and Naruko [Yowamushi Pedal] together with their s/o who is a big otaku?
I hope this has enough fluff for you, hun! I have to admit, this was a tiny bit hard for me? But I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.
Thank you so much for requesting. ♡
Haiji Kiyose
- Kiyose would sometimes become a little worried about how much time you spent reading and watching anime/manga. He’s always more than willing to bargain with you if it meant that you take a little break and spend some time with him.
- “Come out for a run with me, and I promise to watch an entire season with you when we get back.”
- He would always read up on your current manga obsession so that he knew what you were talking about when you described it to him. Sometimes, he’d use character lines on you just to impress you. (And it always worked)
- Kiyose is happy that you find happiness in something (usually) so pure. But every once in a while, he feels as though your obsessions take time away from the time that you two have together.
- “I know you want to watch these new episodes right now, but let’s just cuddle here and talk, okay?”
- Kiyose’s concern and slight jealousy comes from a genuine desire for you to be okay, and well. He wants nothing but the best for you, and just wants to be sure that you’re taking enough care of yourself as you need/deserve.
- “Nope, no more reading. Cmon, lets go run a bath for you and while you’re in there, I’ll make you dinner.”
- As much as you protest in the present, you always end up so thankful to him for pulling you out of your zone.
- “I don’t know what I would do without you, Ki.” You snuggle against him, tired from the perfect bath that he drew for you, and full from the dinner that he made. “I know. I guess I’ll just have to stick around to make sure you take care of yourself.” He’d press a gently kiss onto your forehead, and another into the crown of your head. You’d hum back, “I guess so~”
Kageyama Tobio
- Tobio doesn’t have a genuine interest in anything otaku related. His only treasured hobby is volleyball, and there isn’t anything else that could replace it. But knowing that you do enjoy the culture so much, Tobio would at least put forth the effort to learn a bit about it with you.
- He loves listening to you geek out about your latest manga/anime obsession. He knows that certain shows and characters hold an important place in your heart, so anything that is important to you, is important to him too.
- It’s a little hard for him to keep up with all of the shows and manga that you’re interested in, so usually when the two of you are done hanging out for the day, he writes in a little notebook what show you’re currently watching. The next time you bring it up, he at least has an idea what you’re talking about.
- “Who is that again?” You’d roll your eyes, pausing the show to glare at him. “I’ve told you a hundred times. He’s the main character!” Tobio would stifle back a mischievous laugh, “Sorry, there’s just so much to keep up with.” “Would it help if I told you that he reminds me so much of you, Tobio? Maybe that’s why he’s my favorite character…” Mischievous smile gone, Tobio turns away from you hiding the warm flush that grew across his face. “Whatever.”
- He knows that spending the night with you usually means having a marathon of some sort. Tobio usually falls asleep just a few episodes in, but he always wakes up when you elbow him, showing him a cool scene that he’s just about to miss.
- “Tobio! Wake up, you can’t miss this!” “You said that the last time you woke me up - five minutes ago!”
- Admittedly, Tobio does get a bit jealous of your slight obsession with otaku culture, so it’s up to you to remind him that he has a special place in your heart and life that nothing can take over.
- “I may like manga and anime, Tobio. But I love you.” He’d say you’re annoying when you pull a line like that, but it’s just enough to hold him over, a soft smile pulling at his lips. “I love you too.”
Naruko Shoukichi
- Shoukichi loves to see your passion for anything otaku related. When he has the time outside of practice, he loves watching anything about an underdog main character, somehow fighting his way to the top.
- So every show/manga you find that relates to that, you immediately tell Shoukichi about and he immediately demands that the two of you set a day to binge watch it together.
- Shoukichi isn’t afraid to sing a show’s theme song with you, whether it’s in private or in public. He’s so confident in himself and the relationship that he has with you, he genuinely doesn’t care about what others may think of him, you or the interests you share.
- He’d never admit it, but Shoukichi feels a bit betrayed when he finds out that you watch a couple of episodes without him.
- “Weren’t we on episode three a couple days ago?” “Hm? Yeah, I watched a couple last night. You wouldn’t believe what happens!” Shoukichi was surprisingly good at hiding his pout. “Oh, really? I guess I’ll just have to catch up then.”
- “This main character reminds me of you, Shou!” Saying things like that would show you the rare times that Shoukichi became flustered, his hand coming to scratch at the back of his head. “Does he? That must mean that he’s extra cool, huh?” “Well of course, he couldn’t be anything but.”
- Even though he already has a large family, and money can be a bit tight at times, whenever he sees a trinket that you might like, he doesn’t hesitate to purchase it for you. A keychain charm, a miniature action figure, a licensed pencil. The moment something reminds him of you, he buys it.
- “I got us matching phone charms! I saw these two characters and it reminded me of us.” “That’s perfect, because they actually end up together later on in the show.” “Hm, what a coincidence.” “Indeed it is~”
