Today’s class was something Xiao would have said was interesting, albeit if their professor was actually here for their lecture. A note on their whiteboard saying that their professor had an important meeting to attend and will be back when it ends; so his students were then ordered to study time in reading a few chapters ahead.
Xiao was bored.
Anyone would be if they usually advance study for their subjects, like Xiao.
So instead, he had been idly playing with his phone. Some app where he had to take care of kittens, that is until an idea struck to him. ‘I wonder if Insoo’s in school right now.’ He mused internally before closing the game down then texting the other.

Message:
Insoo! Are you in class? Doing anything important? My Human Anatomy professor decided to skip out on our class, so I’m bored.
He scanned his text for a minute, muttering the message out as he checked the grammar and words before hitting send. “Now what to do.” Xiao said to himself, chin resting on his palm as he begrudgingly tried to make another study note of a lesson he already knows of.
