Tonight, the Moon-Rhee clan had hosted a party for the most influential business families in all of Korea. Of course, this party was unlike all the others, because not only does one have to belong to a big conglomerate but to also be a descendant of a god. A small gathering of the crème de la crème of all humanity.
Nothing big, just a casual normal thing.
The party was held at the Moon-Rhee manor, a 1500 acre big mansion that had at least 2 acres of an entrance from the gate to the manor itself. Everyone was chatting up at the ballroom, or modernized function hall as rarely would people even dance at such an event. Still, the place itself was an epitome of sophistication, from the intricately sculpted designs of the room and its pillars, the dashing white curtains, abundant supply of wine and cheese, to the classical music that wafted in the air to entrance the guests.
Chul had done an excellent job in organizing this small event.
“Je vais vous prendre sur le restaurant de quatre saisons en Angleterre quand nous y allons. C'est merveilleux.” He spoke in his posh French without an ounce of accent in it. Currently, Chul was trying to chat up all of the important people -which was everyone if he might add-.
"Excusez-moi car je vais chercher du vin." Chul excused himself from the onslaught of people whom had nothing better to do for the night than, flaunt about their increasing wealth or complain about their latest infidelity to a young beauty or any other kinds of gossip... Not that it wasn’t part of his life, having been born into such a world, this was an everyday talk that Chul was used to--in fact, he would most likely not be used to them not talking about these mundane topics.
As he busied himself getting his wine, Chul’s eyes caught up on someone. She was an unfamiliar face, someone he should’ve recognized and at least known the name if she were to even set a foot down on their territory.
“Jacques,” Chul called out to the waiter, not really the name of the man but he had a thing for French names at the moment and he always gave their workers their own personalized English names here. “Who is that woman? I don’t think I’ve ever seen her before.” He inquires to the other, eyes trailing on the beautiful stranger.
The man was about to reply back but, Chul had quickly raised a hand up to stop the other. “Never mind,” He said off instead as he placed his finished glass of wine onto the tray Jacques held and took two new ones into his hand. “I’ll find out myself.” He said to both himself and Jacques as Chul sauntered over to the lovely lady.
"Enchanté, mademoiselle." Chul greeted her with a smile, offering the glass of wine. “I don’t think I’ve seen anyone quite as beautiful as you tonight.” He flattered her, offering his hand to hers to he could kiss the top of her hand.
